The Ritual - Group Empowerment Session

Saturday night, something really special happened.
Five incredible humans came together for our very first group empowerment session — The Ritual.
Some of them travelled over an hour to get to us, not knowing a single soul (including me!), but they showed up with open hearts and total trust that they would experience something wonderful.
We met in a little vine-covered nook hidden away from the rest of the world — the kind of spot that feels peaceful and secluded, like it was made just for this occasion.
A few confused locals wandered past during the session, probably wondering what kind of séance we were holding out there in the greenery with our candles and roses and tarot cards.
For anyone who spotted us out there - I promise we were summoning positive things!
It wouldn’t be a proper first session without a few hiccups though, right? The photographer (me) took to mingling as her first priority and during a sudden downpour, a valuable piece of equipment was left out in the rain.
As a girl whose life is dictated by her the moons we began the group session in a fluster and sadly the first half was a bit hit and miss due to some technical (and emotional) difficulties.
But once we all started getting comfortable though, it was kind of magic.

Somewhere between the laughter and resting bitch faces, a koala joined us for his dinner and his application to join the crew was immediately accepted.
After a gloomy start to the day, the sun made a few surprise appearances just in time for the solo sessions to begin, wrapping everyone in the most beautiful light. And then, just as we were finishing up for the night, a rainbow appeared!
You can’t plan these kinds of things — they just happen when the universe is showing off.
The rain did set in as we were packing up so what began as a wet, cold windy day certainly ended on a wet, cold windy note but we were definitely able to make a little magic in the middle!

I sent through a few preview photos that very same night (because patience? never heard of her), and they look incredible. Every single person brought their full, beautiful energy to the session, and I couldn’t be more grateful that they trusted me with these photos.

Here’s to more evenings like this — filled with laughter, new friendships, and a little touch of absolute chaos. I cannot wait to do it all over again.
If you’d love to be part of the next group empowerment session, keep an eye out — there are a couple of dates available on my booking site: https://book.usesession.com/i/0qtP51VvOW ✨
