Cody and Bianca's love story is as sweet as the apples that grow on the trees at The Apple Farm. The Farm, with its rustic charm and beautiful natural backdrop, was the perfect spot for Cody to marry the love of his life with a handful of their closest family and friends to witness.
In a matter of weeks, these two somehow managed to handcraft the most perfect wedding day. From the intimate ceremony complete with handwritten vows, to the beautiful portraits we managed to capture at golden hour and leading into dusk among the grapevines and blossom trees.
The weather gods were smiling down on Cody and Bianca, who somehow managed to find a sunny, 20-something degree Saturday in the middle of August, with the days surrounding staying true to winter form. Bianca looked like she'd stepped straight out of a fairytale wearing her mother's dress and veil, and the simplicity of the day was complemented by the native florals that made up the bouquets and dressed the arbour and tables.
The star of the show was Cody & Bianca's 2 and a half year old cavoodle, Apollo, who was well aware everyone was there to celebrate him. We managed to peg him down for a portrait or two by luring him into thinking he was heading to the dog park with his mates, promises which I'd love to know if his parents followed through on.
The evening finished up with some heartfelt speeches and wholesome moves on the dance floor, Cody and Bianca even sharing a slow dance with Apollo, who's 2 left feet didn't even touch the floor.
Cody & Bianca, thank you so much for having me as part of your inner circle for the day. I feel privileged to have witnessed your vows to each other and wish you both nothing but happiness for this next chapter of your lives.
